Robert Burton and Burton’s Automotive has been serving the citizens of Stafford County for almost four decades. In 1969 Mr. Burton opened a one bay service and gas station with a grocery store on Route 17, four miles west of I-95. Back then, Warrenton Road was a two lane road and when it was widened he was forced to move back and replace the business to where it sits today. Currently, they have 18 work bays, a service wait area and a sales office. They work out of a 13,000 square foot facility that is clean and professional in appearance.

In 1974 Robert got his license to be a car dealer so that he could repair and sell vehicles when he had time. All through the eighties and early nineties Robert spent a lot of time managing his NASCAR race cars and team. It was not until 2000 that he began to focus on retail sales at which time he opened a separate office for the sales department. Robert opened the sales of pre-owned vehicles to enhance his service to the community and his existing customers.

Today, Burton’s Automotive has 3 Service Writers and eight ASE Certified mechanics and can handle all your automotive needs.
